Creating the
Portraits
At no cost
to your school, Shannon Range Photography will bring
a mini-studio to your location on two days during
the week to allow easy access for all your students.
Typically the days will be Tuesday (for the Tuesday,
Thursday classes) and Wednesday for the (Monday,
Wednesday, Friday classes). The days can be
altered to suit your school's schedule.
You get to
choose which backdrop you'd like for your school.
You have the choice of black (more dramatic), white
(very "clean and wholesome") or mottled tan (very
traditional and great for all clothing, skin types,
etc.). Weather, location and time permitting,
we may be able to do outdoor portraits in addition
or in lieu of "studio" portraits. We'll bring
the appropriate seats/props for the backdrop/setting
you choose.
I will be
there shooting and have an assistant with me to
help. We'll take 3-6 images of each child.
It will be a combination of sitting and standing so
we get head & shoulders and full-length portraits.
Siblings &
Parents - If there are siblings in the school that
attend the same days, we can shoot them together and
separate. If time permits, you can also ask
parents to come early to get portraits of themselves
with their child (limited to one parent per child).
Viewing & Ordering
the Portraits
The
portraits will be online the week after the
portraits are taken. The parents will have two
weeks to place their order online. The studio
will take care of all orders and payments.
Once the orders are back from the lab, they will be
dropped off at the school for distribution. If
the parents want their portraits mailed for whatever
reason, they can pay the shipping charge (nominal
fee) for us to mail it to their home.
Also,
anyone with the login and password can order prints.
If relatives want to view and order portraits, they
can do so as well.
Orders are
placed with the lab every Monday and get
shipped/dropped off the following Tuesday so it's a
quick turnaround.
Purchasing the
Portraits
The school
will receive 40% off regular
studio pricing. Parents can purchase
individual prints and packages.
Gifts & Specialty
Items
Any
portrait can be converted to B&W at no additional
charge. Gifts and greeting cards are also
available for purchase. Sample collages (more
than one image per print) will be posted and parents
can replace the sample words images with their
child's portraits and words of their choice.
Bonus for the
parents
As a bonus,
all parents with children in your school that order
portraits will receive a credit of $10 toward any
future portrait session! (Regular sessions
only).
